Karen was raised in South Central Montana, then moved to Helena, Montana and has lived there for the past 40 years. After raising her family she is now finding time to pursue her lifetime ambition of oil painting. Karen’s passion for painting and inspiration from the innate beauty surrounding her has driven Karen’s devotion to chronicle many of Montana’s natural historic landmarks.

I’ve dedicated my life to honing my technique with oil paint, and it remains my favorite medium.

Montana is an artist’s dream with its pristine landscapes and plentiful historical sites that you find nestled throughout the state. These special places are the great inspiration behind the subject matter of my paintings. Throughout my career as an Artist, I have received international acclaim and sold paintings to clientele across the globe. I have been juried into shows in 27 states throughout the US and Canada, and sold paintings to an ever-growing clientele, including one to a couple in Japan. I am truly humbled by the positive reception of my art!

Last but surely not least, it has brought me great joy to donate my artwork to many nonprofit organizations. I feel blessed to be a part of the art world. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

As “America’s Best Known Living Folk Artist,” Warren Kimble draws on more than 50 years of experience as a fine artist, educator, and antiques collector to create a casual but sophisticated style of American Folk Art.

His classic folk art features the animals, rural landscapes and buildings of Vermont. Warren Kimble’s paintings are universally appealing. They evoke a simpler and less complicated era.
