This 700 sq ft kennel facility was designed to provide 4 temporary indoor/outdoor dog kennels and 4 – 6 cat enclosures when a foster home is unavailable to keep the lost and abandoned animals safe until they are reunited with their owners, or a new home is found. The building will have secondary fencing surrounding the outdoor Dog area which will also provide additional space for outdoor dog runs to care for additional dogs (weather permitting).

The foundation was poured in the fall of 2022 and building was installed March 2023. Inside wall framing, electric wiring/plumbing started, and the Power/gas lines installed to building that fall.

We are excited we are still making progress with the help of community volunteers, donations and in-kind services. During the summer of 2024 the Water/sewer lines, Insulation, sheetrock, OSB, FRP, mud, texturing, painting, sidewalks and outdoor kennel concrete slabs are done inside. We just finished installing the guillotine dog doors, window/door trim and baseboards. We are excited that January 2025 we were able to purchase the kennels. Our kennel facility is almost ready to order the remainder amenities to complete our kennel facility.

We are now seeking the funds to help us purchase the cat condos, cat lounge enclosure and needed animal care supplies.
